What does an SEO optimization tool actually do?

Most SEO advice is generic. "Write good content. Build backlinks. Make your site fast." An SEO optimization tool skips the generic advice and tells you what is specifically broken on your specific site. It crawls your pages, checks dozens of technical and on-page signals, and ranks the findings by how much they are likely to impact your rankings. You get a list ordered by priority — not a flat 200-item checklist where everything looks equally urgent.

What SEO issues does Seoxpert find?

  • Title tags and meta descriptions: missing, duplicate, too short, too long.
  • Heading structure: multiple H1s, missing H1, skipped heading levels.
  • Images: missing alt text, oversized images, missing width/height attributes.
  • Links: broken internal links, redirect chains, orphaned pages.
  • Canonicals and hreflang: self-referencing canonicals, missing canonicals, conflicting hreflang annotations.
  • Structured data: missing or malformed JSON-LD for products, articles, breadcrumbs, and FAQs.
  • Crawlability: pages blocked by robots.txt, noindex leaking onto important pages, sitemap errors.
  • Performance: render-blocking resources, missing compression, weak cache headers, Core Web Vitals signals.
  • Open Graph: missing OG tags that affect how pages appear when shared on social.

How is this different from Ahrefs or Semrush?

Ahrefs and Semrush are primarily keyword databases and backlink trackers. Their site audit features exist but they are not the core product — you are paying for keyword data you may not need. Seoxpert is purpose-built for on-site auditing. It is faster to set up, cheaper for teams that do not need keyword research, and it combines SEO with performance and security checks in a single pass instead of requiring three separate tools.

The two categories complement each other. Use Seoxpert to fix what is wrong with your site. Use a keyword tool to find what to write about next.

How does the scoring work?

Each page gets a health score from 0 to 100. The overall site score is a weighted average across all crawled pages. The weighting reflects real-world impact — a missing title tag on the homepage hurts more than a missing alt attribute on a deep product image. The scoring is calibrated so a well-maintained site lands in the 80s, not the 30s like some tools score. A 40 out of 100 means something is genuinely wrong. A 90 means your fundamentals are solid.

How much does it cost?

  • Free — $0: 4 scans/month, 1 domain. Full audit, no card required.
  • Pro — $9.99/month: 100 scans/month across 10 domains. Scheduled scans and email summaries.
  • Agency — $29/month: 500 scans/month across 50 domains. Priority support.

Frequently asked questions

Does Seoxpert replace a manual SEO audit?

For technical and on-page checks, yes — it catches everything a manual audit covers in those areas and does it in seconds. It does not replace a content strategy review or a competitive analysis. Think of it as the fast, repeatable part of the audit that frees up time for the strategic part.

How many pages does it crawl?

Up to 350 pages on the Pro plan, with configurable depth. For most small and mid-sized sites that is the whole site. Very large sites can target specific sections using the start URL.

Can I export the findings?

Yes. Every scan can be exported as a PDF report or a CSV. The CSV has one row per finding with title, category, severity, impact, fix guidance, and affected pages. Useful for sharing with a developer or a client.

Will I get notified if something breaks after a deploy?

Yes, on Pro and Agency plans. Scheduled scans run automatically and send an email summary when regressions appear — so a deploy that accidentally removes the sitemap or breaks canonicals gets caught the same day, not weeks later.
